As a historian with stringent criteria, Vandor Tanya exceeded all my expectations during my week-long stay. The owner's attentive welcome and guidance to the off-road property set the tone for a unique experience. The ability to use the professional Pizza Oven and provided Special Pizza Wood allowed for delightful culinary adventures, adding an authentic touch to my Puszta-life immersion. Despite a blackout caused by a strong autumn wind, the romantic candlelit atmosphere created a cozy ambiance, complemented by ample wood for heating. The charming house, equipped with all necessary amenities, including a veranda, summer kitchen, and barbecue area. The peaceful surroundings, complete with fresh air and birdsong, made it difficult to leave, prompting the desire to extend my stay and bask in the tranquility offered by the property's own piece of land surrounded by a forest. The friendly host, despite the language barrier, added a personal touch to the experience, ensuring a memorable and restful getaway that far surpassed my expectations. Vandor Tanya's attention to detail, exceptional amenities, and idyllic setting make it a standout destination for those seeking a retreat in nature and a taste of authentic Puszta life.
